張學友《醒著做夢》專輯在大陸銷售30萬張，卻從未在大陸開過歌友會，前晚舉辦不售票的新歌演唱會回饋歌迷。他演唱18首歌曲、換５套衣服，和售票演唱會一樣精緻，他也大展唱功，卻為了一句沒人聽出來的瑕疪，在慶功宴懊惱自責，不肯吃飯。
他以〈被遺忘的時光〉等電影組曲開場，笑稱曾在導演聚會上唱過，在場人都在吃飯，只有張家輝、舒淇、陳可辛３人聽，因而把組曲再唱一次，他唱腔多變，情感豐沛，全場陶醉。但下台後卻向工作人員致歉，自首唱錯第１句歌詞，「我從小就這樣，很難放過自己。」
他為這次演出練唱半年，自認在家和在彩排時表現最好，出道30年的他，至今上台會緊張，目標是「正式表演和在家裡唱歌一樣揮灑自如」，他前晚還唱經典情歌，和女歌迷牽手合唱〈你最珍貴〉時，歌迷吃醋怒喊「放開他」！他扮鬼臉解除尷尬。
他設計了「用餐」開場、「上床」結束等巧思，呈現生活面，3000名歌迷滿座。不少歌迷在場外拿著一疊鈔票高價求票，黃牛票喊到一張8000元台幣。
